Halimede Certificate Authority

A simple to use Certificate Authority designed for application developers to be able to create X509 Certificates for use with applications. As more and more applications rely on TLS for communications security, access to easy to use Certificate Authority software is a must.

Halimede can also be used by users to create self-managed certificate authorities for a variety of uses, including generation of certificates for web servers, certificates for email signing, certificates for user smart-card based logins, etc…


Features

Halimede is available as a standalone application, as a plugin for the Eclipse IDE or as a plugin for any Eclipse e4 RCP based application.

Halimede supports running multiple Certificate Authorities from a single interface.

Halimede supports a large range of public key ciphers, including RSA, DSA, ECDSA (NIST/SEC/ANSI X9.62/Brainpool Curves), GOST R34.10, DSTU 4145-2002, EdDSA Ed25519 and Ed448 and numerous Post-Quantum Ciphers including Rainbow, SPHINCS-256, XMSS, XMSS-MT and qTESLA for X509 Certificate generation.

Halimede Supports Certificate Templates, Import and Issuing external Certificate Requests, Certificate Revocation and issuing Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs).
